1. No account required to participate
Google Photos is ideal for small groups of friends who want to have an ongoing shared album for an extended period, but it falls short in both ease of setup and usability when dealing with in-person events because you have to invite every single uploader to the album directly and they first have to create an account and accept your invitation before they can do anything. By contrast, SnapSpaces is designed specifically for events and people uploading to the SnapSpace are not required to sign up for any account or be invited by email, etc. in advance. Your SnapSpace’s custom QR code is their ticket to participant. It’s as simple as scan, select, and go.
2. QR Code materials provided for you
SnapSpaces provides you a downloadable QR code for your SnapSpace at the click of a button, including a pre-styled template for printing your own business card formatted cards that match your site theme. If you are using a Premium tier, you have the option for us to do the leg work and have our signature square, silky-touch QR code cards matching the theme of your SnapSpace professionally printed and drop shipped to you. Removing the hassle of preparing entirely.
3. Explicit Image Blocking
SnapSpaces includes explicit image blocking free with every SnapSpace. Our AI scans all image uploads for explicit content and will prevent explicit images from being uploaded to your site. As the SnapSpace owner you will have a log of summary information about any images that were blocked, but we spare you and your eyeballs the chore of manually removing them. Whether you’re a parent looking for peace of mind using SnapSpaces at a school function, or a bride worried your guests might accidentally upload a regrettable image after a few too many toasts, SnapSpaces has you covered.
4. Intelligent Duplicate Detection
When people can’t remember what photos or videos they have sent you, they often send them all again. SnapSpaces leverages cryptography to detect and prevent duplicate uploads of the exact same photo or video file. This saves you time and ensures your gallery is full of unique images and videos.
5. Customizable Gallery
SnapSpaces is built for private sharing. As the host of your SnapSpace you will have control over what images show up in your gallery, and when. You have the option to make your gallery publicly accessible from your upload site or limit it to direct sharing of the access link only. Available filtering such as by Uploader Name, Image Quality Rating, and on AI-enabled tiers filters by attributes like dominant image colors, image content (dog, bride, etc), and in-image text searching (race bib numbers, etc.).
6. SnapSpaces Image Quality Rating
SnapSpaces leverage AI to analyze and rating the quality of all uploaded images to paid tiers. We added this feature so that you can more easily locate your best images fast. With hundreds or thousands of submissions, you can quickly filter to just the top 25% or 50% of images first. Our quality rating is based on a proprietary combined rating of sharpness, contrast, and brightness of the image foreground.
7. AI Content Tagging & Filtering
SnapSpaces offers several AI-powered features around image analysis and tagging, which allow you to quickly filter and locate images of interest. Looking for all images in your gallery that have a boat? Looking for images with lots of pink for a breast cancer awareness post? Looking for images of a runner with race bib number 4850? No problem.
8. Usage Rights
When people participate and upload to SnapSpaces, they are granting the host royalty-free usage rights to the images and videos they submit, including the right to make derivative works. Tiered of canned shutter-stock content? Use content generated at YOUR events with peace of mind.
9. Slideshows
SnapSpaces has two slideshow tiers. Our basic slideshow is just what you would expect: a rotating shuffle of all images in your public gallery on a black background. Our advanced slideshow offers more customization options including, background color and the option to limit included images to only those that meet a certain SnapSpace Quality Rating, to ensure you put your best [photos] forward during your event.
